Project Scope

The Valve Assessment and Replacement Program is a multi-year improvement project to upgrade the City of Cocoa water distribution system valves, hydrants and associated components. This Program is part of the City's preventative and predictive maintenance efforts to ensure the best possible service. The valves and hydrants being evaluated and repaired under this Program are critical for the operation and maintenance of the water distribution system. This Program will minimize the potential for impacts to the community associated with water main breaks, damages and subsequent repairs.
